To prevent any fraud, we need to independently verify the identity of your landlord or property management company, but their involvement is very minimal. If your landlord or property management will not willing work with CRBC then we will fully refund your money.

Searching by zip code is another great way to find a property if you are having trouble finding it by name or address.

The property manager has not yet moved out the past resident.
A roommate has already registered to your unit.
You have already registered to your unit.
This return response means that there was insufficient funds available in the bank account when the debit attempt was made so the payment could not be processed. Please keep in mind this is based on the account’s available ledger balance.

This return response means that the routing number provided at the time of payment submission was not valid so the payment could not be processed.
If you feel this response was given in error please contact your bank and they will be able to provide you with your correct bank routing number. Please make sure you are using a paper check to validate the routing number as deposit slips will often show a different routing number than the one used for ACH payments. If you would like to obtain the full routing number provided to verify the error, please contact our support team and we will be happy to assist.

At the present time Can Rent Build Credit only accepts eChecks (ACH) Payments.
1. Login to your account, and click on the Pay Now button located on your dashboard (or click the “Submit Payment” option located on your left sidemenu).
2. Enter the requested info on the “Submit Payment” page and click “Continue”. This will take you to the “Confirm Payment” page where you can confirm your payment info and click “Submit Payment”.
1. Login to your account and click the button that says “Setup Auto Pay” located on your dashboard.
2. From here, you’ll be brought to a page that is similar to submitting a one-time payment. Except this time, select the “Auto pay on…” option button and choose the day of the month you’d like your rent to be submitted. Then enter your “Auto Pay Amount” and choose a “Start Date” for your auto pay.
3. Click on the “Add Account” button located to the lower right corner.
Note: if you set up an auto-payment account, please do not submit any one-time payments without cancelling or deferring your next auto-pay draft beforehand. This will ensure that you are not debited twice by mistake.
Can Rent Build Credit charges $2.50 per ACH payment processed through the system.
Standard Processing will deposit funds to your property management company within 3 business days if initiated prior to cut-off time. Standard cut-off time is Monday- Friday 4:00 PM PST.
If your payment is initiated after the cut-off time, on a non-business day, or banking holiday, it will begin processing the following business day and pay out within 3 business days.
Login to your account and click on the “Payment History” option on the left side menu.
1. Login to your account, locate the Payment Accounts option on the left sidemenu.
2. Click on the Add Payment Account button on the upper left corner.
3. Input the new account information.
4. Hit “Add Payment Account” in the bottom right corner.
Some Smaller landlords may not feel comfortable sharing the information required to ACH funds directly into their bank account. For those Landlords Can Rent Build Credit can securely send the Landlord an Echeck that they can print and deposit directly into their bank account.
